Since the founding of Wakunaga Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. in 1955, We have based its corporate philosophy of “serving the health of the people” on the basic policies of “prevention”, “quality”, and “counseling” In addition , based on the idea that “pharmaceuticals have no borders”, we actively expanded overseas, establishing Wakunaga of America in the USA in 1972 and opening Wakunaga of Europe in Germany in 2017. Our core brand “Kyo-Leopin” series, has been sold not only in Japan but also overseas as the “Kyolic” brand in more than 50 countries around the world.
Japan’s population is decreasing due to the declining birthrate and aging populationthat are progressing at a faster pace than other countries in the world. As the average life expectancy is increasing year by year, there are concerns that social security costs will increase due to the gap from “healthy life expectancy” and rapid changes in the national policy are expected. Based on our corporate philosophy of “serving the health of the people”, we will flexibly respond to the changes of the times and environment, leverage our strengths, and proactively take on challenges to improve the health, longevity and quality of life (QOL) of people around the world.
